Allstate’s auto insurance plans are the most popular, because of the perks they offer to certain drivers. They offer Your Choice Auto Insurance, which allows you to choose from a variety of coverage options, including these 4 great benefits:

Accident Forgiveness – this feature allows you to keep your same insurance rate, even though you have had an accident. This is true whether you or the other driver is at fault. Your rate will not rise either way. With a Platinum Protection plan, you are covered for more than one accident. With a Gold Protection plan, you are covered for one accident. With a Standard Protection plan, this feature will be available to you after 5 years of coverage (as long as you meet certain conditions). This feature is not available to those covered under the Value Protection plan.

Deductible Rewards – Allstate will give you $100 towards your deductible for each year that you do not have an accident. You can have up to a $500 reward (5-years accident free). So, if you have a $1,000 deductible and are accident free for 7 years, you will have a $500 deducible credit. If in the seventh year you have an accident, you will only have to pay $500 out of your own pocket, because the rest of your $1,000 deducible is covered by your $500 in deductible rewards. This feature is only available with Platinum and Gold Protection plans.

Safe Driver Bonus – Drive accident-free for six months and you will get a credit to use towards your next coverage statement. You can receive a credit twice a year (one every 6 months) and this can be used in conjunction with these other 3 benefits. So, if you are accident-free for a whole year, you will not only receive two Safe Driver Bonuses, but a $100 Deductible Reward as well. Safe Driver Bonuses are only available to those covered under the Platinum Protection plan.

New Car Replacement – This feature protects drivers who have purchased new cars, by allowing them to purchase another car of the same make and model, if their new car is totaled. This is an optional feature for those covered under the Platinum & Gold Protection plans.
