CNA was founded over a hundred years ago and is now the 7th largest U.S. commercial insurer in the U.S. Chubb’s two major commitments to customers include a focus on the core business of insurance and insurance services, as well as a commitment to keeping their promises; regardless of how far into the future those promises must be kept.
CNA offers a wide range of products and services, mainly for commercial purposes. These include Commercial Insurance, Commercial Affiliate Marketing (CAM), Global/International, Excess and Surplus, Ocean/Marine, PRO Professional Liability, Risk Management, and Surety.
Commercial Insurance covers Builder’s Risk to Workers’ Compensation. Commercial Auto includes Automobile Liability and Uninsured Motorists. Their optional coverage provides for medical payments and physical damage (comprehensive and collision). Of course, policies can be customized to whatever the customers’ needs are at that time.
Equipment breakdown and damage to commercial buildings from fire, windstorm, theft, and other exposures are covered under Builders Risk. If customers have employees that travel internationally, then CNA’s two comprehensive foreign package products for U.S.-based businesses are best suited here. They are Passport and WorldPass. Passport is useful for exporters and small businesses with overseas exposure. WorldPass is for larger, more complicated risks requiring policies from CNA overseas branch offices.
CNA’s Centers of Excellence provide quality service through their representatives. The PRO Professional Liability product list is also quite extensive. It covers the professional gamut of professional liability, employee claims and liability, fiduciary liability, technology insurance solutions, and other various commercial claims.
